The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences FFA Career Development Event Day is scheduled for Friday, March 7, 2014. Approximately 1,600 high school students, teachers, and adult chaperones will visit the Campus Ag Center and Campus for 13 different, hands-on, learning events in the areas of Ag Business & Mgmt., Ag Mechanics, Agronomy, Aquaculture, Entomology, Forestry, Horse Evaluation, Job Interview, Livestock Evaluation, Meat Evaluation, Nursery/Landscape, Range Management, and Soils. The Awards Ceremony is scheduled at 4:00 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom with a welcome from Dr. Jeff Silvertooth. A group of Arizona cheerleaders will appear at the Awards from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to welcome students. Please feel free to attend the Ceremony. CDE Day is a great way to highlight our College and University to prospective students and parents.
